POSITION TITLE:  Project Administrator / Release Assistant

Working for the Release Manager within a two-person Release Management team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day release management tasks of application deployment activities within a larger 12 person team.  This 12 person team is responsible for packaging up and deploying applications and application updates (patches to Office, Adobe Reader, etc).  This is done in a very fast pace environment where 70 or more of these releases may be occurring simultaneously.  While the activities for each release are relatively the same, there are always different releases on the go, each with their own challenges, and combined with the vibrant work environment makes it a fun place to work.

Specific Tasks are:

• Preparing release documentation and sending them to our clients;
• Creating, monitoring, adjusting, and closing releases.  This involves working with databases, sending / receiving e-mails, and
• updating reports and charts.

Experience Required:

• 1 year working with databases;
• Excellent English written and oral comprehension;
• Be organized and able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks; and
• Be technically competent with MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word.

Desirable:

• Assyst database experience;
• Understanding ITIL terminology / processes; and
• Project management scheduling experience.
